Installation Guide

Everything you need to get Tint Tek 20/20 up and running.

Blade Requirements

Ensure that you are using a 30 degree (or less) blade with window film. The blade should barely be exposed and should only ever cut through the film, never the clear liner.

Display 1920×1080 resolution, 24-bit color
Disk Space SSD with 256 GB or more — HDD with 500 GB working space or more

Before You Install

Install All Windows Updates

Your Windows OS must have all updates downloaded and installed before proceeding. This may take a while.

To check: click the Search bar next to your Start button, type "Check for updates" and select Open. Even if it says your system is up to date, press the "Check for updates" button again to be sure.

Tip: Recent Windows updates can be lengthy. Make sure your computer is plugged in and allow time for the updates to complete fully before installing TintTek.

Windows Security Pop-Up

When downloading or running the installer, Windows may show a security warning. This is normal.

Click "More Info", then click "Run Anyway" to proceed with the installation.

Download the Tint Tek 20/20 installer to your computer.

Install

Unzip the downloaded file and run the installer. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

When the software prompts for an activation code, enter the code below:
